All four hangers located in the densely-housed urban area bounded by Uxbridge Road, Northfields Avenue and Boston Road are full - there is clear demand.
At least two sections of drop kerb on the stretch of Oaklands road between Seward Road and St Kilda is no longer required for access as the industrial units/garages have been converted. A hanger could be provided without taking away a car parking space.
