This bike hangar would be massively helpful as all of the other bike hangars in the area have at least a 20-person long waiting list for use. This demonstrates the high-demand for a hangar in the area.
I currently live in a flat with no private area for bike storage, so I have had to leave my bike outside until this point. However, I recently had a bike part stolen when parking my bike publicly, so I worry about the security of our bikes in this area. As this area of Acton receives a high-level of foot-traffic due to its proximity to The Oaks shopping Centre, Morrisons and the businesses on Churchfield Road, I believe that publicly parked bikes are at a higher risk of theft or damage.
Furthermore, as there are quite a few flats in the surrounding area (i.e. Churchfield Road) without a secure outdoor space to park a bike, this bike hangar would be a major resource for local residents.
